Crown Hair Transplant

Graft distribution must be strategically mapped to create natural-looking density without overusing valuable donor hair.
Crown restoration often requires more grafts than patients expect because the vertex is a broad and highly visible area that reflects light easily, making thinning appear more pronounced. Especially in patients that have lighter colored hair in addition to pale skin. This combination exaggerates the appearance of thinning because the hair and underlying skin do not have any color contrast. The crown can have slightly reduced blood supply compared to the frontal scalp, which may result in a slightly longer waiting period before reaching full visual density.
