Does Millionaire Biohacker have groundbreaking therapy for treating hair loss?
Recently, there has been a lot of buzz about Bryan Johnson, a multi-millionaire biohacker who has pursued a wide range of therapies and treatments in a bid to reduce his biological age. An article in The Independent UK reported, based on posts by Bryan Johnson on X, that he reversed his male pattern baldness and returned the color to his hair in less than a year.
"Mr. Johnson said that while he should be “genetically bald” by now, after embracing nutritional, topical, and even light treatments, he now has a full head of hair with 70 percent fewer greys."
Is this actually new?
Although this story has been treated as groundbreaking by the general media, none of this is new in the medical hair restoration community. In his posts on X, he gives his advice and treatment protocol, all of which is routinely discussed in hair restoration practices with patients every day.
His recommendations include proper diet red light therapy with a laser cap and combination topical or oral therapy with items including minoxidil, dutasteride, melatonin, caffeine, and vitamins. For years, hair loss specialists working with specialized compound pharmacies have offered these therapies to their patients.
At Mollura Hair Restoration, Dr. Mollura routinely prescribes customized hair loss medications and low-level laser light therapy options to his patients.
