Laser Hair Loss Therapy in hair restoration utilizes cool lasers to stimulate hair growth and reduce hair loss. Laser Therapy is based on the scientific principle of photo-biotherapy. Photo-biotherapy occurs when laser light is absorbed by cells and stimulates cell metabolism and protein synthesis. It appears to stimulate the follicles on the scalp by increasing energy production and by reversing miniaturization (the process leading to thicker hair shafts and a fuller look). Our HairSmart Growth System has 272 cool laser diodes and is powered by the provided rechargeable lithium battery. The device can be easily inserted and worn into most caps or hats. A sports hat is provided with the device. While you are getting your treatment, you are fully mobile to go about your daily activities.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP is blood plasma that is concentrated to approximately 5x the platelet concentration of normal circulating blood. It also contains biologic growth factors and other bioactive proteins that aid in wound healing and hair growth. Several recent studies have indicated that PRP is a safe treatment option for common genetic hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).
Once PRP is prepared from the patient’s own blood, it is injected into the scalp to stimulate thin (miniaturized) hair to grow into thicker (terminal) hairs. Patients with thinning areas are the best candidates. If PRP hair loss therapy is appropriate, we can begin your treatment at your earliest convenience. We will administer the next two treatments at 4-week intervals. You will be asked to return 3 to 6 months after your 3rd treatment for assessment. Follow-up treatments will be given twice yearly depending upon your progress.
